How to delete your data from NearbyAssist
DAICISION s.r.o. ("DAICISION"), the operator of NearbyAssist, is committed to protecting your privacy. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. Below are the available methods.
1. Delete via Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app:
- Log in to your NearbyAssist account.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm the deletion by typing the required keyword.
2. Delete via Email
If you cannot access your account, send an email to privacy@daicision.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
3. What We Delete
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Your booking and appointment history
- Your messages and conversation history
- Your reviews and ratings
- Your saved businesses and search preferences
- Your payment method references (Stripe customer record)
4. Data We May Retain
We may retain certain data where required by law (e.g. financial transaction records for tax compliance) or where necessary to protect our legitimate interests (e.g. fraud prevention). Any retained data is anonymised or pseudonymised where possible and deleted as soon as the legal obligation expires.
5. Processing Timeline
Self-service deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 calendar days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
